Technical record of your sale request
When your sale request is successfully received, in addition to your declarations, their version and the time, we store a technical record of the request: the IP address from which the connection to our server was made and the User-Agent string that your browser sends with the request (in full up to a length of 8 kilobytes; a longer string is shortened and marked as such). If a technical intermediary service is placed in front of our server, this address may be that of the intermediary; we only store your own IP address insofar as it can be reliably determined, otherwise we record it as unknown. From the User-Agent string we derive browser, operating system and device details only insofar as the string allows them to be identified reliably; details that cannot be identified or are ambiguous remain unknown. These details are not a reliable determination of your identity or of your actual device. We protect the record, together with your declarations and the name and e-mail address given in the request, against unnoticed alteration.
We use this record to assign your request, to clarify specifically disputed transactions and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the traceable safeguarding of these requests. We do not use the details for advertising, analytics or to track your use across different websites or devices; the evaluation takes place on our own systems, without transfer to an additional recognition service. Access is limited to the responsible authorised staff and our hosting provider (ALL-INKL.COM, Germany, under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR); in a specific dispute, where applicable, the recipients required for its legal handling, such as legal advisers or courts.
We delete the IP address, the User-Agent string and the details derived from it after three calendar years, counted from the end of the year of the request. Only insofar as they remain necessary for a specific legal dispute do we retain the affected details for longer after renewed review, and we delete them as soon as the reason no longer applies. In backups the details remain until the backups are overwritten; if a backup is restored, we repeat earlier deletions before the data is used again. Your declarations and the other order documents are retained in accordance with the privacy policy of your country (see below).
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) at any time by writing to ankauf@tm24.de. You may object to this processing on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR); we will then no longer process the technical record unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or need it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).
